Congratulations to the Senior Mens First Team on winning Stroud Division 1 thus winning promotion to the Northern Senior League – This a a fantastic achievement for the club.

Sunday 8th May – U11 GYL Cup Final Abbeymead v Hucclecote venue Cinderford Town FC 12.00 Kick Off

Congratulations to Paul Basfords U9s who won the Mid GLos Mini Soccer North League with 2 games to spare – they are unbeaten, scoring 104 goals and only conceding 7. They now look forward to their Cup Final on the 7th May against The Abbeymead South League Team and then a Champions League day Presentation later in May.

Also congratulations go to the girls U14s who have finished runners up in the Gloucestershire Couny Girls League, losing out on top spot to Cheltenham Spa.

The Ladies also enjoyed a fantastic cup victory against Cheltenham Spa which sees them through to the Semi Final of the Gloucestershire County Womens League, League Cup. They won their quarter final 3 -1 with goals comming fron Paige Ible, Lucy Keogh and Mel McIlwraith ( Mel is currently 2nd top goal scorer from all three leagues in the GCWFL).

Following yesterdays news of the U9s and U10s both reaching the GYL cup finals, the U11s rounded off a hugeley successful weekend for the club by beating Quedgeley 3-1, despite going behind, in their cup semi final to secure them a place in the final against Hucclecote.

It has also been confirmed today that the U13s will face Rodborough in their cup final, after Rodborough defeated Hucclecote this afternoon.

So just to confirm that the club has two U9 teams playing each other in the Mid Glos Mini Soccer League final,  another U9 team in the Gloucester Youth League cup final and have also reached the Gloucester Youth League Cup Final at U10, U11 and U13.

A fantastic achievement…
