Congratulations to the u10 Spitfires who beat Hucclecote 4 – 0 to reach the semi final of the Gloucester Youth League, League Cup. Cobi Manton Scored the first before Fenton Skidmore struck a hatrick so secure a place in the semi final. They will be hoping to go one better this season having finished Runners Up in this competition last season.
The U10 Harriers have also reached the Semi Final of the Mid GLos Mini Soccer League, League Cup. The team completed a superb hat trick last season winning the League Cup, the League and the Champions League. Lets hope they can emulate the success of last season again this year.
Congratulations also go to Carrick Egan (U9), Isaac Lawrence, Michael Barron, Joe Haswell (all U10) and Tom Sheen (u11) – Who have all been seclected to play for the Mid Gloucestershire Mini Soccer League Representative Teams at their respective age groups.
Congratulations to three of our ladies team who have been selected to play for Gloucestershire County U18s.
Paige Ible who also played for the County last season along with Heidi Markwick and Kat Sutton who will both be eligable again next season.
Their first fixture is away to Hampshire on Tuesday 22nd November and the club would like to congratulate them on their achievement and wish them the best of luck.
Abbeymead Rovers Ladies are seeking to recruit players for the 2011/12 season.
The Ladies play in the Gloucestershire County Womens League on Sunday Afternoons
Players must be 16 and all abilities are welcome.
We are also looking to recruit a new manager as we will be losing our current manager Ross who is going to university in September.
