Congratulations to both U9 Mid Glos Mini Soccer League teams who have managed to reach the semi finals of the Garry Lee Shield (League Cup) – The club has a great history of winning this title - They have managed to avoid each other in the Semi with the A team playing the winners of Wotton Rovers and Charfield and the B team playing Painswick. – An all Abbeymead final maybe?!! Semi Finals take place on 26th feb at Frampton.
Also Congratulations to the U11s who are through to the quarter finals of the County Cup and face Avon Athletic away on 13th February – This is a massive achievement as they are competing in the combined U11/12 age group and have already beaten two under 12 teams on the way to the quarters.
Another team reaching the County Cup quarter finals are the U14s who are the only team left in the competition from the north of the county with the others being Cirencester Town and six Bristol based teams. This tie will take place on the 13th February at Home to Southmead Community.
The U13s have also reached the Semi Final of the Gloucester Youth League Cup but are still awaiting the draw.
Good luck to all teams
